Mr Marvin D Freeman was named Executive Vice President of Rio Algom Mining Corporation (RAMC) in August 1997 with responsibility for mining operations, including safety, technical and regulatory aspects. Previously, he was Vice President of RAMC for eight years, with responsibilities in operations and regulatory affairs. Prior to joining Rio Algom he spent ten years in Kerr-McGee Corporation’s uranium operations, and four years in Exxon USA’s uranium operations, working primarily on uranium in-situ leaching projects. He holds a BS degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Oklahoma. |
