Mr David C Blee currently directs NAC's worldwide consulting and governmental services business units. From December 1994 until January 2000 he was in charge of NAC's international and US marketing, sales and communications. As a co-founder and partner of Franklin, Blee and Burling, a Washington-based consulting group, Mr Blee specialised in the management of energy, electricity utility and environmental issues. Prior to this, he held senior positions in several public affairs and communications firms, most recently as Senior Vice President of Robinson, Lake, Lerer & Montgomery. From 1985 to 1989, he held a number of top-level appointments at the US Department of Energy, including Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Energy with responsibility for congressional, intergovernmental and public affairs, Director of Public Affairs, and Director of External Affairs. Earlier, he held several Congressional and campaign posts, including Chief of Staff to Senator Connie Mack of Florida. He studies at Dickinson College, obtaining a BA in economics. |
