Mr Jean-Guy Devezeaux graduated as an electrical engineer from the Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité in 1980, and as a nuclear engineer from the Institut National des Sciences et Tecniques Nucléaires in 1981. He carried out doctoral and post-doctoral studies in economics at the Panthéon-Sorbonne until 1986. From 1981 until 1990 he was an Economist and Senior Economist in the Strategy and Assessment Division of the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA). In 1991 he became Head of Planning and Economic Studies at Cogema, moving in 1995 to the position of Head of Technical Management in Cogema's Reprocessing Division. In 1998 he became Head of Nuclear Waste Conditioning and Disposal in the Nuclear Fuels and Recycling Division of Cogema. He is an occasional teacher at several universities and institutes, including the Sorbonne University and the Universities of Toulouse and Grenoble. |
