Mr Malcolm C Grimston

Mr Malcolm C Grimston was educated at Scarborough College and at Magdalene College, Cambridge, graduating in 1979 having read natural sciences and specialised in psychology. He then took a postgraduate certificate in education, and was a teacher of chemistry from 1980 to 1987. In July 1987 he was appointed Director of Talks for the UK Atomic Energy Authority, and in April 1992 he joined the British Nuclear Industry Forum as Energy Issues Adviser. In October 1995 he moved to Imperial College, University of London, as a Senior Research Fellow. In September 1999 Mr Grimston was appointed a Senior Research Fellow at the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House. He is also an elected Councillor in the London Borough of Wandsworth, and is Chairman of the Council's Education Committee. He is the author of numerous reports and papers on nuclear power and energy issues.
