Mr Frantisek Hezoucky

Mr Frantisek Hezoucky graduated from the Czech University of Technical Sciences in mechanical engineering with a specialisation in thermal power equipment, and the Slovak University of Technical Sciences in nuclear technology. For over 14 years he worked at the Jaslovske Bohunice nuclear power plant in Slovakia, in positions ranging from reactor operator to Deputy Manager of the scientific department. In 1979 he moved to Dukovany NPP in the Czech Republic where he managed the commissioning of four units. He moved to the Temelin plant in 1987, initially working for the Czech utility CEZ as Deputy Director for commissioning activities. While remaining at Temelin, in 1993 he joined Westinghouse, moving to Colenco in 1997. In June 1999 he re-joined CEZ as Executive Director of Temelin NPP Construction Division and Vice Chairman of the Board.
