Mr Arthur de Montalembert graduated in economics and finance (business administration) from the Paris Institute of Political Studies. He also holds a degree in philosophy from the Sorbonne University in Paris and a postgraduate degree in regional and urban planning from the French School of Civil Engineering. His career in the energy field started in 1979 as an officer for international energy affairs at the French Ministry of Industry. In 1983 he joined Cogema, holding responsibilities in marketing and sales in Asia until 1987. From 1988 to 1992 he served as Cogema's Chief Representative in Japan. Upon his return to France, Mr de Montalembert became Manager of International Business Development in Cogema's Recycling Branch. Since 1995, he has been in charge of American affairs within Cogema's Corporate Strategy and International Development Division. |
