Mr Victor Mourogov

Mr Victor Mourogov studied power engineering at the Moscow Institute of Applied Physics. He later studied at the Institute of Physics and Power Engineering (IPPE) at Obninsk, where he became a doctor of science in 1989 and a professor in 1992. Since 1994 he has been an Academician of the International Academy of Information. From 1970 to 1989, Mr Mourogov worked as Senior Scientist at the IPPE. Until 1992 he was Scientific Secretary of the IPPE and Head of the Division of Organisation, Planning Research and Development, and Advanced Investigations. From 1992 to 1995 he was Director of IPPE, Chairman of the IPPE Scientific Council, and a member of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Russian Ministry of Atomic Energy. Since January 1996, he has held the position of Deputy Director General in the Department of Nuclear Energy at the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna.
