Mr Robert Van Namen is Vice President of Marketing and Sales for USEC Inc. He is responsible for developing and implementing corporate marketing and sales policies and managing USEC's sales force. Before joining USEC in January 1999, he was Manager of Nuclear Fuel Management for Duke Energy. His career at Duke Energy included seven years in nuclear design and safety analysis, moving to fuel management activities in 1991. Mr Van Namen earned his BS and MS degrees in nuclear engineering at the University of Virginia, and continued his studies in Duke Energy's leadership development programmes. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of North Carolina, and has published numerous papers dealing with nuclear fuel issues and with the impact of deregulation on nuclear power. |
