Prof
Valentin B Ivanov graduated from the Kuybyshev Polytechnic Institute as
a doctor of technical science. He worked at the Scientific Research Institute
for Nuclear Reactors in Dimitrovgrad for 35 years. In 1989 he became Director
of this institute. His sphere of professional interest is scientific research
in the nuclear fuel cycle, including spent nuclear fuel management. Since
1998 he has held the post of First Deputy Minister for Atomic Energy of
the Russian Federation. |
