Chris Lewis

Chris Lewis is Executive Director of NucNet, the Swiss-based international nuclear news agency with members and subscribers in nearly 50 countries. He joined NucNet in 1995, and was subsequently promoted to Business Development Manager and Editor-in-Chief, before being appointed Executive Director as of 1 January 2001. Chris Lewis graduated from Cambridge University in 1984, and went on to complete a postgraduate degree in journalism. He began his journalistic career in 1986, working for a major evening newspaper in southern England until 1989, before taking up a senior editorial post at Swiss Radio International. He is currently completing a distance learning MBA at Henley Management College. Together with former NucNet editor Jack Ashton, he was the recipient of the 1999 Uranium Institute Gold Medal for 'outstanding contributions that have facilitated the deployment of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes'.
