Colin Macdonald

Colin Macdonald has been with Cameco and predecessor companies since 1981. Born in Largs, Scotland, Colin Macdonald attended school in Ontario, Canada, and obtained bachelor's and master's degrees in geological sciences at Queen's University and the University of Saskatchewan. He has held numerous positions in scientific, operational, and management roles while pursuing uranium and gold exploration targets in North America and internationally. He also served for a period as corporate strategic planner for Cameco. Colin Macdonald is currently Vice President of Exploration at Cameco, and is responsible for the company's worldwide uranium exploration activities.
