Derek May
Derek May has over 20 years' experience in the commercial nuclear industry. A graduate of Cambridge University, he holds a first class honours degree in mathematics and an MBA from the Manchester Business School. He joined NAC as Managing Director, Europe in January 2001. Prior to that, and since 1996, he was the BNFL Executive Director responsible for corporate strategy, long-term business development and latterly for mergers and acquisitions. In that time he led numerous international projects in continental Europe, Asia and the USA. In his earlier career he held director-level and senior sales and marketing posts in BNFL's fuel and reprocessing businesses.
