Gaston
Meskens was educated at the University of Ghent as an industrial and nuclear
engineer. He is Systems Analysis and Safety Adviser to the SCK.CEN. He is
also a Project leader in the International School for radiological Protection
at SCK.CEN, and a Project Leader in the Sustainability and Development project,
within the framework of the 'Nuclear Research and Society' activities of
the SCK.CEN. Gaston Meskens is Chairman of the European Nuclear Society
Young Generation, and has been the European Nuclear Society representative
for negotiations within the framework of United Nations Framework Convention
on Climate Change. He has also been a member of several IAEA and OECD/NEA
working groups on the technical and social aspects of new nuclear technology. |
