Mauno Paavola is President and CEO of Teollisuuden Voima Oy (TVO). He gained his MSc in 1967 from the Helsinki University of Technology. He joined TVO in 1975, initially undertaking various technical assignments. In 1991 he was named Deputy Managing Director of TVO, and in 1994 he was appointed to his present position. Mauno Paavola is a member of the Nordic Nordsäk Organisation. He is on the board of the Finnish Energy Industries Federation, of the Central Chamber of Commerce, and of various companies in the power industry. He has been awarded the title of Energy Counsellor. |
