Dr Pat
Upson is the Managing Director, Technical, in Urenco Limited and is responsible
for all site operations, new plant design and construction, research and
development, centrifuge manufacturing and diversification. A graduate Chemical
Engineer from Imperial College, London, where he also completed his PhD
in Fluidization, Pat Upson started work in the nuclear industry in the Research
and Development Group, BNFL Sellafield, in 1973. He became BNFL Enrichment
Division Manager in 1987 and moved into his current position in the Urenco
Group in 1992. He was President of BNES from 1994 to 1997 and President
of ENS from1998 to 1999. |
