Michel
Watteau is a Senior Vice President of Framatome ANP, and within the Fuel
Business Group, General Manager of the Fuel Design and Sales Division. He
began his career with the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) in 1965
as a Nuclear Fuel Technology and Development Engineer and joined Framatome
in 1981, as Nuclear Fuel Engineering Vice President. He went on to hold
the positions of Framatome General Manager for Nuclear Steam Supply System
Engineering, Deputy Managing Director and Technical Director of Nuclear
Power International, the Framatome-Siemens subsidiary in charge of developing
the European Pressurized Water Reactor (EPR), and became Head of the Fuel
Design and Sales Division in October 1994. Michel Watteau graduated from
the Ecole Centrale de Paris in 1965 and received his degree in nuclear engineering
from the Institut National des Sciences et Techniques Nucléaires
de Saclay in 1968. |
