Ralf Güldner

Dr Ralf Güldner studied for a degree in chemistry in Munich from 1972 to 1978. In 1981 he was awarded a doctorate in radiochemistry. Since 1981, he has been working in the nuclear fuels business at Siemens. Until 1995 he was based at the Hanau nuclear fuel fabrication facility, focusing on radiation protection, process engineering and quality control. In 1995 he became Manager of the cladding tube production plant of Advanced Nuclear Fuels (ANF) in Duisburg. From 1997 to 1999 Dr Gueldner was Managing Director of ANF, which comprised the European fabrication facilities within the global nuclear fuels business in Europe, which now operates under the banner of Siemens Nuclear Fuel GmbH.
