Biography of Barry W Schmitke

Mr Barry W Schmitke graduated with a diploma in mining engineering technology from Keewatin College and a B.Sc. from the University of Waterloo. He has been employed by Falconbridge Ltd., Sheritt Gordon Mines Ltd., Central Potash Ltd. (Noranda), International Minerals and Chemical Corp. and has held various positions with the Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan. He has been with the Cameco Corporation - Cigar Lake project since 1988 and is currently the General Manager for the project. Mr. Schmitke is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Saskatchewan.
