Mr Moussa Souley is Assistant, Development and Engineering Department, Mining Business Unit, COGEMA. He graduated in Mining Engineering at the Montreal University – Ecole Polytechnique - Canada. He also holds a Master degree in Mineral Valuation from that same school and a Physics degree from the University of Niamey in Niger.

Mr Souley started his career as a teacher at the Ecole des Mines et de Géologie in Niamey then joined Cominak, a subsidiary of Cogema, in 1991 as a mining engineer. He was in charge of the mining department for five years before moving to Cogema's Velizy headquarters, in France, at the end of 2002. Since January 2003 he has been responsible for implementing at the mining operation level several corporate cost reduction programs within the Development and Engineering Department of Cogema's Mining Business Unit.
