Mr. Cornell has been President and Chief Executive Officer of RWE NUKEM, Inc. since January 1, 1998.
Previously, he served as Vice President at RWE NUKEM, Inc. where he was responsible for the company’s nuclear fuel trading operations, and played an instrumental role in developing the company into the world’s third largest supplier of nuclear fuel after Cameco and Areva. Before joining NUKEM, he held senior management positions with three leading coal-trading companies. Mr. Cornell has served as the President of the American Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and the Treasurer of the U.S. – Kazakhstan Business Association for the past several years. Mr. Cornell received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University in 1976 and his Master of Business Administration from Cornell University in 1978. RWE NUKEM, Inc. is a U.S. corporation based in Danbury, Connecticut. It is a subsidiary within the European energy giant RWE of Essen, Germany, and is one of the world’s largest suppliers of nuclear fuel, stable isotopes, and beryllium. |
