Biography of Hauro Maeda

Mr. Maeda has served as a Nuclear Fuel Group Manager for Itochu International Inc, which is a 100% Itochu Corporation subsidiary in North America since 2004. His responsibilities include the trading and marketing of uranium. Between 1999 and 2004, he was based in London serving as a European Representative for Itochu nuclear fuel marketing. From 1995-1999, he was with the Nuclear Energy Department based in Tokyo and was responsible for marketing nuclear fuel and fuel services to Japanese utilities. Prior to 1995, Mr. Maeda worked in the Itochu Heavy Fuel Oil Sales Department where he was responsible for trading and marketing for this department from the time he joined Itochu Corporation in1990. Mr. Maeda graduated in 1990 from Nagoya University in Japan with a B.Sc. in Nuclear Engineering.
