Jiangang Qiu

Mr. QIU Jiangang is currently the Assistant President of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) mainly in charge of nuclear fuel management. He has been responsible for the technical management in planning, economic management, nuclear power engineering, and capital construction, etc. Prior to his current position, he held several posts including principal staff member, deputy division director, deputy director-general and director-general of department separately in the Ministry of Nuclear Industry, Ministry of Energy and former CNNC. He was also a board member of Qinshan Nuclear Power Joint-Venture Company (QNPJVC).

Mr. QIU graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 1978, majoring in nuclear power engineering. He holds a bachelor degree of engineering, and a title of professorship senior engineer.
