Véronique Decobert

Véronique Decobert is an engineering graduate from the Ecole Nationale Supérieur de Chimie in Paris and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Pétroles et Moteurs. She also holds an MBA from the State University of New York at Albany. Véronique began her career as an engineer at SGN, an engineering subsidiary of AREVA NC before joining the Treatment Division. In 1996, she was appointed Director, Safety and Quality at Transnucléaire, an AREVA subsidiary. Two years later, she became Director, Safety and Quality for the AREVA NC La Hague site before becoming director of Transnucléaire's North-West operations in 2000.

Véronique was appointed Nuclear Safety Inspector for AREVA NC in 2001. In July 2003, she was appointed Vice President Safety, Health & Security of AREVA NC before becoming in January 2005 AREVA Senior Vice President, Safety, Health and Security.
