David Doerksen

David Doerksen is currently director, market planning and administration, for Cameco Corporation. He is responsible for contract administration, transportation, fuel procurement and market planning in support of Cameco's international marketing activities. He is also responsible for marketing in the Canadian nuclear fuel market.

Mr Doerksen started his career with Cameco in 1998 and held positions in treasury, strategic planning and corporate development before assuming his current position in 2005. Prior to joining Cameco, he spent 10 years in the international oil and gas industry with Amoco Corporation in various positions in finance, treasury and business development.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
