Peter Lutwyche

Peter Lutwyche has worked in the nuclear industry for 20 years in a wide range of operational and functional roles. He is currently the Director of Strategy and Transition for British Nuclear Group Sellafield Ltd (BNGSL) and Deputy to the BNGSL Managing Director.

Peter is a Chartered Chemical Engineer who has a wide knowledge and experience of managing a variety of plants across the whole of the Sellafield site. He has specialist knowledge of waste and effluent treatment on the site.

In 2004-2005 he led the massive transition programme which took British Nuclear Group from owner/operator to lead contractor at Sellafield and its subsidiary sites, one of the largest and most complex transition programmes in Europe.
