![]() | Dr Bernhard Rosner is a professional engineer with a degree in mining and process engineering and a PhD in engineering. He grew up and was educated in Germany. He started his professional career with Uranerzbergbau GmbH in Germany. In 1975 he joined Gulf Minerals' Rabbit Lake uranium operation in northern Saskatchewan as Senior Metallurgist. In 1978 he joined UEM in Saskatoon, as Chief Metallurgist and later as Manager, Engineering, to develop the Key Lake project. After the merger creating Cameco, he joined the Cameco corporate staff, where he is currently employed as Vice President, Engineering and Projects. His department is currently heavily involved in the development of the McArthur River and Cigar Lake projects and designing the underground and surface ore handling facilities. |
