MARK RICHARDS

Mark specialises in the energy and utilities industry, particularly the nuclear sector. He is named as a leading individual in Legal 500 for his expertise in this sector. He is a member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Nuclear Law, the UK representative to the Foratom Legal Task Force and co-chair of the Nuclear Industry Association Legal Affairs Working Group. Since the mid 1990s he has been the lead adviser on the Chernobyl Shelter Implementation Plan and has advised on all civil nuclear decommissioning programmes in countries where this was a condition of EU accession. He recently advised bidders in relation to Sellafield in the UK.
