MICK ROCHE
Mick Roche is the Global Practice Leader of Uranium Stewardship for BHP Billiton. He has a BSc (Hons) in Marine Geology from Flinders University of South Australia.
Mr Roche joined BHP in Whyalla in 1978 as an exploration geologist and spent 14 years working throughout South Australia/Northern Territory/Western Australia exploring for most commodities. In 1992 he was appointed inaugural Site Manager at Cannington silver-lead-zinc project and in 2001 initiated and led the development of the Green Lead project - a global lead stewardship program.
Since 2004 Mr Roche and his team have been developing stewardship programs at BHP Billiton, with our customers and others in the lifecycle of our commodities.
