KIYOSHI YAMAUCHI

Mr Kiyoshi Yamauchi is the Executive Officer, Senior Vice President, Nuclear Energy Systems Headquarters of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd (MHI). As an executive, he is responsible for all aspects of the nuclear business.

He is a member of the directors of the Atomic Energy Society of Japan (AESJ).

In 1971, he graduated from the faculty of nuclear engineering at the University of Tokyo and joined Mitsubishi Atomic Power Industries Inc (MAPI). He has been working in the nuclear engineering field throughout his career. His expertise ranges from mechanical engineering, nuclear safety to MOT over nuclear engineering.
