PENNY BUYE

Penny Buye is the Director, Market Planning and Analysis in the marketing department at Cameco Corporation. Penny heads up the
market planning group whose primary responsibilities include revenue forecasting, contract analysis, and all analysis of the current and future uranium, conversion, enrichment and heavy water reactor fabrication markets, including deriving forecasts for future supplies, demand and price.

Penny has extensive experience in preparing presentations with regard to the nuclear market for international nuclear audiences. She is an active participant in a number of World Nuclear Association working groups, including the Plenary Advisory Group, and is current Co-Chair of the Market Report Drafting Group which publishes the World Nuclear Association’s market report bi-annually. In the past, Penny also participated in the production of the Nuclear Energy Agency publication Market Competition in the Nuclear Industry. Penny has worked at Cameco in various capacities in the Marketing department since 1990. Penny has a Bachelor of Arts with a major in economics from the University of Saskatchewan.
