ALI ETEMAD

Dr Etemad is the Executive Vice President of Vattenfall Fuel in Sweden. He performed neutron and reactor physics research at Studsvik Research Centre (Nyköping, Sweden) from 1969 to 1974 and at Chalmers University of Technology (Gothenburg, Sweden) from 1980 to 1982. He joined Vattenfall in 1982 as a reactor physicist and was promoted to Manager of Nuclear Fuel Supply in 1984. In his current position he is responsible, among other things, for nuclear fuel market and procurement.

Dr Etemad received his PhD degree in reactor physics from Chalmers University of Technology (Gothenburg, Sweden) in 1974. He has been involved in many international engagements such as being the board member and Chairman of the board of the World Nuclear Fuel Market, member of the European Supply Agency (ESA) Advisory Committee, a member of the board of the World Nuclear Association (WNA) as well as chairman of various working groups within WNA and ESA.
