RALF GÜLDNER

Ralf Güldner holds a degree in chemistry and a doctorate in radiochemistry both from the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. He started his professional career in 1981 by joining the nuclear business of Siemens.

After several positions in the nuclear fuel business of Siemens he became Managing Director of Framatome ANP GmbH (now AREVA NP) in 2001 when the Siemens nuclear business was merged with Framatome. In 2006 he moved to Paris and was appointed Executive Vice President of AREVA NP responsible for the company’s Global Nuclear Fuels Business.

In September 2008 he joined E.ON Kernkraft as Managing Director responsible for new built and decommissioning projects. He was also engaged in national and international industry associations and from 2006-2008 he was Chairman of the World Nuclear Association (WNA).

Ralf Güldner is married and has three children
