Kiril Komarov

KIRIL KOMAROV

Mr Komarov was born on 29 December 1973 in Leningrad (now St Petersburg). In 1992 he graduated with a gold medal from the Law Lyceum of the Ural State Law Academy and in 1997 graduated with honours from the Court and Prosecution Department of the Ural State Law Academy. Upon graduation he entered graduate school and in 2000 defended a thesis on the topic of "Public administration: means in the area of economy."

From 1996 to 2000 he worked at CJSC YurCon Consulting Company (Yekaterinburg) occupying positions from specialist to First Vice-President. From June 2000 to June 2005 he worked at the RENOVA Group as First Director for Legal Issues and Project Management of CJSC RENOVA, moving on to First Deputy General Director of CJSC RENOVA and finally Director General of CJSC RENOVA - Razvitie. Between 2005 and 2006 Mr Komarov was Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Water Resources of Russia. From March 2006 to April 2007 he served as Vice-President of JSC TVEL and from April 2007 Mr Komarov was Director General of JSC AtomEnergoMash (subsidiary of JSC TVEL). In December 2007 he was hired for the position of Deputy Director of JSC Atomenergoprom and he is now Executive Director.

Mr Komarov holds a PhD degree in law.
