DANNY RODERICK
Danny Roderick, as Senior Vice President, Nuclear Plant Projects, GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy, is responsible for leading all aspects of project development and management for new and existing nuclear plant projects worldwide. The programme offices of both ABWR and ESBWR technologies report to him.
Danny has over 26 years of proven performance in the nuclear industry, serving in leadership positions in Engineering, Project and Operational Plant Management, Outage and Work Controls, and Operations.
Prior to joining the GEH team he was at Progress Energy, where as an officer of Progress Energy Florida and Progress Energy Carolinas he served as Vice President of Nuclear Projects and Construction. He has also held various roles with increasing responsibility, including serving as Director of Site Operations, Plant General Manager, Engineering Manager, and Outage Manager at the Progress Energy Crystal River
Nuclear Plant.
Before joining Progress, Danny spent 13 years in plant operations and engineering assignments with Entergy’s Nuclear Division at Arkansas and three years as a Start-Up Engineer and Field Engineer with Johnson Controls and Howard S Wright Contractors during construction at the Perry Nuclear and Columbia Generating Stations.
