MIKE SMITH

Mike is Managing Director of Uranium Asset Management Ltd, a subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company based at Springfields in the North West of England.

Mike reports to the Senior Vice President of Westinghouse Nuclear Fuel Business and is responsible for managing the uranium working stock used in Westinghouse fuel fabrication facilities in the US and Sweden. UAM also procures and supplies uranium as an agent for British Energy and has a successful commercial radioactive transport business.

Previously, Mike was Head of Magnox Fuel and Primary Conversion for BNFL at Springfields and Station Manager at Chapelcross Nuclear Power Station, in Scotland.
