RON CAMERON

Dr Ron Cameron is currently Head of the Nuclear Development Division of the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency. Prior to that he held senior roles at the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organization (ANSTO). He has over 25 years of experience in nuclear science and technology in both the UK, Austria (IAEA) and Australia, involving both power and research reactors. He has had extensive involvement in nuclear policy advice, strategic planning and international affairs. In June 2009, he was awarded the Australian Public Service Medal in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for his work in leading the team that managed the construction of a new research reactor in Australia.
