Spotlight on emerging and expanding nuclear countries
During the IAEA General Conference in Vienna, the Association supported Brazil with a side event entitled Spotlight on emerging and expanding nuclear countries.
Government representatives from Kenya, UAE, Brazil, Romania, Argentina and Russia exchanged information and experience on the challenges and opportunities in developing nuclear capacity.
In her introductory remarks, Agneta Rising referred to World Nuclear Spotlight conferences, hosted to date in Indonesia, Poland and Brazil, where national representatives present the scope of their nuclear energy programmes, whilst the international nuclear community demonstrates its support.
