Public Consultations

Our input on matters affecting the nuclear industry.

Submission to the European Commission’s Delegated Regulation on a climate change mitigation and adaptation taxonomy

The World Nuclear Association (WNA) is grateful for the opportunity to provide comment on the sustainable finance taxonomy. Given the global nature of the nuclear industry, developments in the taxonomy will impact it beyond EU borders. We therefore wish to support the submissions made by the European nuclear body Foratom and other EU based nuclear companies/organizations, while also adding our own points.

We have taken note of the changes between the different drafts, and we welcome this opportunity to provide further comments on the draft report “Radiological Protection of the People and the Environment in the Event of a Large Nuclear Accident”.

Submission to “the inquiry into the prerequisites for nuclear energy in Australia”

Submission to EU Energy and Environment Sub-Committee Inquiry into the implications of Brexit in the UK

Brexit is a matter of the utmost importance to both the UK nuclear sector (as represented by the UK NIA) and the broader European nuclear sector (as represented by FORATOM), but it will also likely require action from global partners.
