Call for Papers

The Nuclear Energy Institute and World Nuclear Association are seeking abstracts to be presented at World Nuclear Fuel Cycle 2020.

You are invited to submit one-page abstracts for presentations addressing policy, trade, market, and commercial issues affecting supply and demand for the commercial front and back end of the fuel cycle.

Anticipated topics include:

  • The global picture for nuclear energy, including new builds, license renewals, and emerging markets
  • Uranium supply side outlook - new projects, resources, production cuts
  • Future enrichment picture - outlook for facilities, enriching above five percent
  • Fuel supply and reactor economics
  • Electricity markets
  • International trade issues
  • Fuel procurement strategies
  • Nuclear materials transportation – including transportation packages
  • Security of supply
  • Spent fuel disposal issues, including on-site storage
  • Fuel inventories and possible future dynamics
  • Fuel fabrication innovation and technology development
  • Secondary supply, reprocessing, MOX
  • Back end of the fuel cycle
